Even though the café requires a flight of stairs to access, the experience more than makes up for it with its engaging environment and friendly service. While some customers mention prices slightly on the higher side, the quality and taste resonate well with the majority, making every sip worth it.

A nice cafe that offers A TON of coffee and latte drinks. They also have a variety of food including pastries, cookies and even egg rolls! The service was friendly and averagely quick (took about 10 minutes for 3 drinks and pastries). They are also connected with Honey On The Hill, which sells (surprise) honey, honey products, and kitchen wares. Because of the connectivity, the place feels like one huge open air cafe. The one complaint I have is the price; plain coffee was reasonable at around $4, but $7 and higher for made drinks (lattes, cappuccino, etc.) seems a bit much.
Expensive but really good. I got a strawberry kiwi fruit green tea and it was so good. It's upstairs and the have a HUGE space. You wouldn't think it was that big from the outside. Would definitely recommend getting one of their teas or just to go look around. They do samples too but the samples weren't happening the day we went.
Hoth Cafe Honey on a Hill is a second wave coffee shop, bubble tea cafe, and gift shop rolled into one space. The honey used in their products is sourced from their bees. We walked up a flight of stairs to reach the front door, so I do not think this shop has disability access. The gift shop has a fantastic selection of honeys, whipped honeys, honey lollipops, and bee-themed decor, and honey-based skincare products. There is a counter that you can request to sample the various selection of honey products. There are several tables that have a great view of the main streets of Helen to snack and chat at. The strawberry and peach whipped honey products ($18 for 11 oz) are made with organic freeze-dried fruit powders mixed with their honey. I found them to be delicious and easily spreadable on warm croissants. The honey pops ($2.85 each) have this strange flavor to me that was undesirable. Lastly, the peach slushy drink was sweet and refreshing. Interestingly, the online shop for Hoth Cafe Honey on a Hill has a reduced selection and higher prices on the same products. If it's convenient and seriously desirable, it would be a better choice to shop in their retail store.
What a cute shop & a nice place to stop & take a reprieve from the heat with a great selection of yummy drinks & sweet eats. Sweet bee related items for sale!! A nice change from the the same old t-shirts & hats at every other store in town.
The barista made Queen Coffee iced is wonderful. We had Oreo macaroons, custom made Boba Tea, so many wonderful sweet and savory bakery items. The baklava is heaven and the spinach Italian patisserie is going to have me happy all day. This is where Honey on the Hill moved to and the shop is in this spacious cafe as well!
